All I want to do ...

Does anyone remember the old song, All I want to do is make love to you? Well, all I wanted to do (at the moment) was to get back in to view the Toddler Faux Pas blog and it's taken what seems like forever because I forgot my password and had to go and do it all over again. So, now here I am again, not believing I'm doing this. Don't I have better things to do in my life? You'd think so, wouldn't you?

I'm on vacation this week and my exciting plans include cleaning my closet out - have already removed most of the winter sweaters/skirts finally and put in summery type clothing, although my husband says I should throw away anything over 10 years old ... he thinks I'm cheap and keep too much - anyhow, other exciting plans include finishing the references on two manuscripts I've written (from my dissertation on smallpox) that slowed to a crawl and finally stopped last winter, helping make a quilt top for a retiring priest from our church, going to a couple of meetings (blah), sorting through paper - I don't know who else does this but when company comes over suddenly or sometimes not even so suddenly and there is a stack of paper on the counter, I "put it away" - usually in my closet - which results in lots of paper in there - can't just dump it all as something could be of interest so will watch movies or Dr. Phil this week and throw out most of it, I hope to convince my hubby to go away overnight somewhere, I want to go swimming at the beach and even bought a new bathing suit, I have to go apply for a passport as I'm going on a cruise this Fall with my sister/sister-in-law/and two nieces, and I don't remember what else is on my list....wish me luck. Course, when I get back to work, I'll be overwhelmed with emails and patient alerts but that's ok. Almost forgot, my favorite toddler and grandson's birthday party is Sunday the 14th which will be fun - have to go to Toys R Us to buy him the present we want to get him. So --- that's my exciting week ahead of time .... I'll also check in on students from the online course I teach - that will keep me out of trouble!
